The previous blogs I have read talked about poor conditions and no contacts. The house here is all clean and it's not time to get back into blogging and the radio!
MikeVE9KK https://www.blogger.com/profile/04720839744779758420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3156518320909350372.post-80654472805614132022013-03-28T13:34:26.991-07:002013-03-28T13:34:26.991-07:00Hello Dick,

Hihi

However, I remember a QRP QSO in the Canary Islands who was using a long wire from a hotel and also a slow freighter (QRP) near So America using a dipole.

My most amazing catch the last few months was an Oman station, on 30 meters, who was using a two element Delta.

I think a good antenna is "everything" at QRP levels. France and Spain are about my most distant contacts with 2x QRP.Jspikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14751088160139882564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3156518320909350372.post-19233730265786587282013-03-28T12:25:22.721-07:002013-03-28T12:25:22.721-07:00Hi John. I would be interested in knowing how many European QRP stations with compromise antennas you have contacted. Just a ball-park idea. I have contacted a few USA stations from here so equipped but very few. Most had beams or quads tossing out the QRP. 73 DickDickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10984094559146508871noreply@blogger.com
