I worked my 84th DX Country this evening with TK4LS in Corsica. Napoleon Bonaparte was born on this island. It's always nice to work another new DX Country.
Although I didn't make a blog entry for the 26th and 27th I worked several different stations.
Today also marks my 127th day of DX this year.

Hi John, I envy your indoor antenna. I ponder what could be the secret... maybe you do the same. But it is amazing. 5 years ago I had a Miracle whip antenna extended with 10 m wire. In the front yard of my house. Oh boy, I made such nice qso's Dick N2UGB said: you must live on a hotspot or something. Now I have much better antennas outside in the backyard, but still thinking about those days with the Miracle Whip. ;-) I hope all is well with your health and back. 73 Paul
Congratulations, John! Good catch! Bands were horrible this past weekend so not much activity from here.
Hello Paul,
Although I have very good luck with the indoor random wire, I can't help but wonder what a longer length would produce, especially if it were "outdoors". I joke about the "gold dome" on the capitol building which is just up the street from here. It's as good an explanation as any....
My back is still giving me "fits". The pain just doesn't stop in my right leg. It's been "literally" months since I've slept all night. I have a physical therapy session scheduled soon but I have little hope it will be successful. It's beginning to look like surgery is my only option. Time will tell....
Hello Paul,
I worked Nigeria last night but already have him (5N7M) in the log book. I'm still trying to work at least one DX station a day, but the "new" DX countries are really hard to find now. I spend a lot of time listening and checking the log book.
Hope to talk to you when you move to 1 land. I'll be looking forward to hearing you.
